My own personal experience with Kinga Dorosz has been very positive and I am happy to share this recommendation. I highly recommend her.
For me, selling a home packed full of 48 years of memories and attachment was daunting! Especially so, since I
had never sold a home before, (much less one I had grown up in), and six siblings depended on me to do a good job. The house was more than a structure, it was like a family member. I wanted it looked after in a personal way. I found that with Kinga.
She first impressed me with the lovely note she sent as a follow up to our phone call after she was door knocking in the Eagle Rock neighborhood. Little did I expect to be in a position to need such services 5 days later after we spoke! Though I took my time contacting any relator for several months, I kept her hand written note close by.
When I finally did call her, I was impressed with her sincerity and willingness to help me with suggestions and ideas before I ever committed to hiring her. She visited the house multiple times and was never pushy even though I had not signed a contract. She was easy to reach, lives locally, and her thoughtfulness, calmness, yet obvious enthusiasm for the job she does were remarkable.
In the meantime, I felt it was my duty to speak with three other realtors, two were top sellers in their firms and I thought, who would do a better job of focusing on my project? Though Kinga does not have their repertoire, I liked the idea of giving the job to a person who could dedicate more personal time and attention. Plus, I have good hunches about people.
Though I was nervous to sign the contract and would get anxious about what was coming next, Kinga always settled my anxieties with a thoughtful email in response to mine. She is sensitive and kind as well as being smart with a good sense of humor. Her personality is perfect for my hometown Eagle Rock! Lastly, I discovered that many agents are not licensed brokers as is Kinga and her occupation as a licensed architect before moving into real estate adds a nice dimension.
What happened with my family home? Kinga did back to back weekends of open houses which were super busy. Immediately following, there were 8 bids and the house sold for over $50,000 of the asking price. I wish you all the best in your personal situation. It can be an emotional roller coaster . I am glad I had Kinga with me through the process.
